Models of Vision Care Delivery for Indigenous Communities



The Models of Vision Care Delivery for Indigenous Communities project seeks to develop and test a comprehensive model for developing an effective workforce to deliver eye care in Australia. The overarching goal of the program is to ensure that affordable, accessible, and culturally appropriate eye care is delivered to Indigenous people.

The model will be flexible enough to allow for states and regions to tailor it to their specific needs. The model aims to be accepted, endorsed and implemented by Indigenous health services, and the Commonwealth, state, and territory governments. Project participants include:
