Overview

Holyoake's approach to its counselling and support is to help those affected by alcohol and/or other drugs as well as to help those closest to them. This unique approach recognises that the impact of alcohol and other drug problems affects the whole family as well as friends. Counselling and support programs are generally provided from various office locations using one or more of the following approaches: individual counselling; a group work approach; and providing workshops and courses.

Holyoake operates from four locations within Western Australia as follows:

• Victoria Park
• Midland
• Northam
• Narrogin

All of the services outlined above are available from the Victoria Park office, while the other locations focus more on providing individual counselling and a selection of group work programs. An Indigenous services program supports Aboriginal families impacted by alcohol or other drug use and operates from the Northam and Narrogin offices.
