Booklet
The brain story is a depiction of the brain damage caused by solvent abuse and is primarily designed for delivery to the parents of solvent abusers; it is intended to demonstrate the damage caused, and encourage discussion of personal and community actions that can be taken. The brain story book can also be used with young people as a preventive tool, however research shows awareness of the harmful effects of solvent abuse is not an effective deterrent. The information is neurologically accurate.
