Description

This series of publications on the management of type 2 diabetes represents systematically generated statements that are designed to assist health care clinicians and consumers to make informed decisions about appropriate treatment in specific circumstances.

The series has seven parts:

    1. Introduction and overview of the guideline development process
    2. Primary prevention of type 2 diabetes
    3. Case detection and diagnosis of type 2 diabetes
    4. Blood pressure and control in type 2 diabetes
    5. Prevention and detection of macrovascular disease in type 2 diabetes
    6. Detection and prevention of foot problems in type 2 diabetes
    7. Lipid control in type 2 diabetes.
