Description

These resources were developed as part of the Healthy Eating Activities (and) Lifestyles (for) Indigenous Groups (HEALInG) program, an Indigenous-specific program that aims to provide practical information for women facing social, emotional and financial difficulties.

The program is designed to provide support to these women in making positive lifestyle changes and taking control of their lives, with a focus on healthy activies, healthy eating, healthy lifestyles, self esteem, goal setting and overcoming life barriers.

The facilitators handbook contains information necessary to set up and run a HEALInG program within an Indigenous community, and discusses:

The program manual contains a detailed overview of how the program is organised, providing information about each session participants will be taking part in, and how it will benefit them.
