Rheumatic Heart Disease Australia's e-learning package (2012)

Description

This self paced education package provides the health workforce with an introduction to best practice approaches to the prevention, diagnosis and management of acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD).

The modules have been designed for members of the health workforce with little or no knowledge of ARF and RHD and can also be used as a revision tool for those with knowledge of ARF and RHD. The five modules available are:

• acute rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease
• diagnosis of acute rheumatic fever
• management of acute rheumatic fever
• management of rheumatic heart disease
• Michael's story, a case study.
