Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service

 

Description

The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service provides health services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Torres Strait and Cape York communities of Queensland. The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service comprises 31 primary health care centres, two hospitals, (Thursday Island and Bamaga), a multi-purpose health service in Cooktown and an integrated health service in Weipa.

The service works in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and other organisations to provide high quality, innovative and effective remote health services.
