Kalkadoon Aboriginal Sobriety House (KASH)

 

Description

The Kalkadoon Aboriginal Sobriety House (KASH) Aboriginal Corporation is a family oriented, holistic drug and alcohol residential rehabilitation centre situated near Mount Isa in Queensland. The site contains two family unit buildings, dormitory style accommodation, laundry facilities, kitchen, outdoor and indoor dining areas, offices, children's playground and client recreation room. Residents from the Mount Isa region, or further afield, who aim to improve their health and wellbeing away from the destructive effects of drugs and alcohol can be referred by any external agency (for example, Centrelink, Medical Practice, Legal Aid, or Department of Child Safety).
