The WA Aboriginal Health Worker Association was incorporated in 2005 and a steering committee formed to guide the development of the Association. The Association's overarching goals are to gain recognition and acknowledgement of the Aboriginal Health Worker profession and to ensure proper industrial arrangements. The WA Aboriginal Health Worker Association is an organisation that is for and directed by Aboriginal Health Workers.
