Description

The Continence Foundation of Australia (CFA) is a membership based, national peak body for continence management, promotion and advocacy. A not-for-profit organisation, the Foundation manages the major Australian Government project under the National Continence Management Strategy and provides services such as:

• The National Continence Helpline: 1800 33 00 66
• Annual Continence Awareness Week
• National Conference on Incontinence
• The Australian and New Zealand Continence Journal
• BRIDGE Newsletters for consumers
• Accredited courses in continence management for carers and health workers

CFA has developed a range of free resources specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and concluded the Continence Education in Remote Australia Project (CERAP), funded by the Department of Health and Ageing on June 2009.
