The Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) is the national association of the profession, with branches in each state and territory. The purpose of the organisation is to support members and to advocate for better food, better health, and better well-being for all Australians. Dietitians are employed in a wide variety of work areas including clinical dietetics, community nutrition, education, private sector, government, research and industry.
The DAA provides a range of publications to keep members informed about the profession and current issues in nutrition and dietetics. These include the Nutrition & Dietetics journal, newsletters, conference proceedings, handbooks, manuals and pamphlets.
