Northern Territory Government, Health Promotion Program

 

Description

The primary focus of the Health Promotion Program is policy development, research, evaluation and development of resources in the area of Aboriginal health. Staff support and resource public health and primary health care workers; plan and implement health promotion activities in remote communities; and facilitate and support community initiatives in health promotion. Training Coordinators deliver accredited and non-accredited training in Health Promotion Principles and Practice.
