Description

In June 2001 the then Premier, Dr Geoff Gallop, launched the Physical Activity Taskforce to oversee the development and implementation of a whole of community physical activity strategy for Western Australia. The Taskforce comprises senior representation from the Departments of the Premier and Cabinet, Education, Health, Planning and Infrastructure, Sport and Recreation, the Western Australian Local Government Association, Healthway, Lotterywest, a leading academic and a community representative.
