Optometrists Association Australia

 

Description

The Optometrists Association Australia (OAA) provides a range of services to its membership of Australian optometrists, including representing them and their interests to government and other bodies, and providing resources and publications to assist them in their practices. It also provides information and other services to the Australian public.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health working group was established by the National Board of the Optometrists Association in 2008. The group was formed to provide expert policy advice to the National Board in relation to provision of eye care services to Indigenous communities. Priorities for the group are to:
