National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System (NNDSS)

 

Description

NNDSS coordinates the national surveillance of more than 50 communicable diseases or disease groups. Notifications are made to the respective state or territory health authority and then computerised, de-identified unit records of notification are given to the Australian Government Department of Health and Aging on a daily basis.
