The Australasian Sexual Health and HIV Nurses Association Inc. (ASHHNA) is a national professional organisation advocating on behalf of nurses working in the field of sexual and reproductive health and those working in the area of HIV. ASHHNA seeks to achieve the following aims:

• enhance communication and networking within this specialist area
• assist with the exchange of professional information
• increase the scope of sexual and reproductive health nursing practice
