Description

Kurongkurl Katitjin Centre for Indigenous Australian Education and Research is situated at Edith Cowan University (ECU), Mount Lawley, Western Australia. Their mission is to provide excellence in teaching, learning and research in a culturally inclusive environment which values the diversity of Indigenous Australian history and cultural heritage. The Centre supports University-wide activities and programs and activities specific to Indigenous Australian people and their culture. These include:

Aligned with ECU priorities, research is a high priority for Kurongkurl Katitjin. It houses the Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet which became its own, independent academic unit within ECU and now operates separately from Kurongkurl Katitjin.
