Alcohol and Other Drug Services in Victoria

 

Description

Alcohol and Other Drug Services in Victoria is part of the Department of Health Victoria, and is the government body that provides information on treatment and support for alcohol and other drug users.

In 2013, the Victorian Government released the first whole-of-government strategy to reduce the impact of drug and alcohol abuse in the Victorian community. The Reducing the alcohol and drug toll strategy is a 15 point plan that provides a comprehensive response to the three major drug types; alcohol, pharmaceutical drugs, and illegal drugs.
