Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA)

Description

The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) exists to support the Government and, through Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries, to deliver on a broad range of social policy outcomes. FaHCSIA is the Australian Government's main source of advice on social policy and works in partnership with other government and non-government organisations to manage a range of programs and services designed to support and improve the lives of Australians.
