Secretariat of National Aboriginal and Islander Child Care (SNAICC)

 

Description

The Secretariat of National Aboriginal and Islander Child Care (SNAICC) is a national non-government peak body in Australia which aims to promote the rights, needs, and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. SNAICC is governed by a national executive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

SNAICC is committed to pursuing eight priorities, each of equal importance, on behalf of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families, and will work in partnership with local services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander bodies, governments and non-government organisations to achieve the priorities.
