Lung Foundation Australia

 

Description

Lung Foundation Australia is a national organisation which was originally established as The Australian Lung Foundation in 1990 to provide support to patients and carers burdened by lung disease and to ensure lung health is a priority for all in Australia. The Foundation also focuses on bringing together key leaders in respiratory medicine and generating awareness about the importance of positive lung health within the community. The Foundation aims to provide the following:

Lung Foundation Australia collaborates with organisations such as; the National Asthma Council Australia, the Australian Respiratory Council, the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, the Cystic Fibrosis in Australia and Asthma Australia to improve lung health research.
