Benelong's Haven Family Rehabilitation Centre

Description

Benelong's Haven Family Rehabilitation Centre, established in 1974, provides residential services for Indigenous people with a dependence on alcohol or other drugs. Benelong's Haven addresses their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs, thus encouraging them to re-enter life. This is accomplished by providing a caring environment conducive to meeting those needs. It also operates as an alternative to jail for young Aboriginal people.
