Yorgum Aboriginal Family Counselling Service

 

Description

Yorgum Aboriginal Family Counselling Service offers supportive and culturally appropriate counselling to Indigenous people in the Perth metropolitan area. The team of counselling staff is comprised entirely of Indigenous Australians and includes one male counsellor.

The target group for the service are Indigenous children and adults of all ages who have experienced family violence or childhood sexual abuse.

Individual, couple and family counselling sessions are available by trained staff who are capable of providing counselling on a wide range of issues affecting Indigenous people.

Ongoing clients of the service can also be provided with counselling in the following areas of need:
