The National Heart Foundation of New Zealand is the charity that leads the fight against cardiovascular disease (heart,stroke and blood vessel disease) in New Zealand. They are an evidence-based organisation providing a strong scientific voice on heart and circulatory disease. The Foundation strives to meet the needs of diverse ethnic communities whilst demonstrating by their practices, commitments to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
