Midwest Community Alcohol and Drug Service

 

Description

Midwest Community Alcohol and Drug Service (MCADS) aims to reduce alcohol and other drug related harm for people in the Midwest region of Western Australia (WA) by working with individuals, families and the community to reduce the impact of drug use.

MCADS is based in Geraldton, with offices in Carnarvon and Meekatharra, and provides a fortnightly outreach service to Kalbarri, Dongara, Northampton, Mullewa, Morawa, Three Springs and Eneabba. MCADS also travels monthly to Yalgoo, Cue, Mount Magnet, and Wiluna.

Services offered:

The service has a high number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, which allows for clients to choose preferred counsellors.
