Pilbara Community Drug Service Team (PCDST)

 

Description

Pilbara Community Drug Service Team (PCDST), formally known as Pilbara and Gascoyne Community Drug Service Team, provides the Pilbara region, in Western Australia, with counselling and information services for alcohol and other drugs (AOD). It is one of 12 community-based AOD services in a state-wide network.

The PCDST also provide:
  • information training for professionals
  • resources for managing issues related to AOD use
  • support to school initiatives to prevent and reduce drug-related problems.
The PCDST also incorporates the Pilbara Aboriginal drug and alcohol program, a specialised service providing skilled Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers in the AOD field.
