Tangentyere Council

 

Description

The primary purpose of the Tangentyere Council is to serve as the major service delivery agency for the 18 Housing Associations known as 'town camps' in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. The council provides assistance to Aboriginal people in obtaining legal tenure of the land they are living on so that they will have access to essential services and housing.

The Tangentyere Council also coordinates other services including:
