Anangu Ngangkari Tjutaku Aboriginal Corporation (ANTAC)

 

Description

The Anangu Ngangkari Tjutaku Aboriginal Corporation is a non-government organisation of Aboriginal traditional healers (ngangkari), based in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) lands of South Australia (SA).

The aim of the organisation is to provide healing services to the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in the APY lands of SA, and in the cross-border areas of Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

Healing services are provided anywhere that is required including hospitals, health care services, correctional facilities and police courts.

The ngangkari also work with western medical practitioners and health professionals to provide holistic two-way health care to their patients.
