Garnduwa

Description

Garnduwa works with the remote communities of the Kimberley in Western Australia (WA) to build capacity to manage and deliver sustainable and ongoing sport and recreation programs.

The organisation aims to encourage young Indigenous Kimberley people and others to engage in a healthy and active lifestyle while building self-esteem and the principles of teamwork through regular participation in meaningful sport and recreation activities.

Garnduwa is a non-for-profit organisation established in 1992 by Indigenous representatives from communities across the Kimberley and has offices in Broome, Derby, Fitzroy, Halls Creek and Kununurra.
