The National Indigenous Corporation for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Education Network (NICFASEN) provides culturally appropriate programs and workshops that cover the impact of the teratogen alcohol on: the developing embryo and fetus; Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD); and child growth and brain differences. NICFASEN has provided education on FASD to over 40 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia.
