Badanami Centre for Indigenous Education

 

Description

The Badanami Centre for Indigenous Education was established in 2006 at the University of Western Sydney (UWS). The purpose of Badanami is to provide support and encouragement for every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student enrolled at the UWS and to enhance their learning opportunities.

Badanami provides a range of services for staff, students and community members in accessing higher education and students can drop into the centre at anytime to study or relax. Each UWS campus across NSW has spaces and support to guide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through their study and to help make their time at the university enjoyable and enriching.

Badanami can put you in touch with a range of services available on campus, from study skills courses, careers advice, counselling and medical assistance all the way through to opportunities to study abroad.
