Aboriginal Interpreter Service

 

Description

The Aboriginal Interpreter Service (AIS) help with language barriers faced by Indigenous people in the Northern Territory.
Interpreters are trained to work in a wide range of settings and environments including:

The service has over 370 registered interpreters who work across the Northern Territory. Interpreters are trained, assessed and supported by AIS staff and many are accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI).
