Deadlee Maardars

Description

Deadlee Maardars is a regional-based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation in Queensland which coordinates cultural youth camps for boys age 10-12 years. The camps are an intervention process to keep school-aged boys engaged in the education system. The camps also have a leadership component for boys aged 13-18 years named the Young warriors intervention and leadership program which focuses on developing strong leadership and social skills and building positive peer relationships.
