The Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations (AFAO) is a non government organisation representing Australia's community response to HIV/AIDS. The AFAO provide leadership, coordination and support to the national policy and are also involved in advocacy and health promotion responses to HIV/AIDS.

The AFAO is primarily concerned with working with population groups who have the greatest prevalence or risk of HIV/AIDS. Such populations generally include: gay men; HIV positive people; injecting drug users; sex workers; and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
