The Southern Country Health Service delivers a comprehensive range of safe, high quality health services to the rural and regional community of southern Western Australia (WA). The Southern Country catchment area covers more than 227,000 square km, and contains a population of over 300,000, of which 3.1% identify as Aboriginal.
Southern Country Health Service came into effect on 1 July 2012, and includes the WA Country Health Service regions of Great Southern, South West and Wheatbelt, along with Ravensthorpe and Esperance.
