The Victorian Department of Justice aims to deliver high-quality services to Victorians, and supports a safe, just, and thriving Victoria.

The Department encompasses many aspects of law and justice, including:

Corrections Victoria is a branch of the Department of Justice. Corrections Victoria operates the State's adult corrections system, including prisons and community correctional services. It ensures prisoners are safely and securely contained and aims to rehabilitate offenders by addressing the underlying causes of offending behaviour.
