Injury Division, George Institute Australia

 

Description

The Injury Division of the George Institute aims to carry out high quality research into the causes of injury in Australia and investigate prevention and treatment strategies. The division's research covers a range of topics, including:

Much of the work in the Injury Division focuses on young driver safety and Indigenous road safety and embraces a wide range of public health challenges. The division conducts community based research to collect data among Indigenous Australians to design targeted intervention strategies for injury prevention.
