Description

Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS) is a major primary health care provider in the Latrobe Valley and Gippsland areas of Victoria. LCHS is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of Koorie people living in Gippsland. LCHS provides a wide range of quality health and support services, delivered with cultural sensitivity. All services are available to the Koorie community, and a number of Koorie-specific services are also on offer:

• a Koorie alcohol and other drugs worker
• a Koorie court worker
• a Koorie allied health assistant who engages the local Aboriginal community with district nursing and palliative care services.
