Weenthunga Health Network Inc. is a new collegial Victorian network for health professionals,practitioners and workers in any health role with a desire to see improved health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Weenthunga is a Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people-led network which encourages inter-disciplinary collaboration between Australians and First Australians - at local and regional levels as well as across the state.

The network aims to provide Victorian health practitioners with:

• opportunities to network both locally and across the state, and discuss solutions to address the inequalities in the health of 'First Australians'
  
• professional support and education to improve the cultural knowledge and skill base for working with 'First Australians' and their communities
• inclusion in a network with access to collegial support and information, regardless of your particular health qualification or role in delivery of health services
• opportunities to join in strategies to see more 'First Australians' working in health roles.

Their main goal is to see equality in health for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and Australians.
