Indigenous Eye Health Unit - Minum Barreng

 

Description

Indigenous Eye Health Unit (IEH) was established in 2008 at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health to undertake research that establishes an evidence-base and policy framework to address Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health in Australia.

IEH aims to Close the Gap for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population through research, policy formation, advocacy and implementation.

Examples of research activities the Indigenous Eye Health Unit has undertaken include: The National Indigenous eye health survey and the Provision of Indigenous eye health services report.
