Indigenous Wellbeing Centre

 

Description

The Indigenous Wellbeing Centre is an Aboriginal community controlled organisation that provides services to enhance the quality and accessibility of culturally appropriate health care for the the local Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. The services are delivered in Bundaberg, Gin Gin, Childers, Miriam Vale and Mt Perry in Queensland.

The services provided by the Centre include projects to improve Indigenous access to mainstream health services and strengthern Indigenous families, the development of a cultural education package for health care providers and a brokerage health service for Indigenous people.
