The Specialist Aboriginal Mental Health Service (SAMHS) is offering exciting career opportunities for Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal people/professionals to work and engage with Aboriginal people and communities in a "Holistic" Whole of Family, Whole of Life service delivery model incorporating strong Aboriginal traditional and cultural elements within the medical model.
We are seeking a pool of applicants to fill the role of Clinical Nurse. We currently have 2 positions available. This is an exciting opportunity for Clinical Nurses to provide a community mental health service to consumers and their families who present severe, complex and persistent mental disorders. To be successful in this role, you will be able to deliver a specialist nursing service within a multidisciplinary and professional mental health team context, and provide support to colleagues and other professionals within SAMHS. We encourage all those who have experience as a practising Community Mental Health Nurse and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal people to apply to this pool.
