Overview

The Office of Aboriginal Health scholarship program was formed in 1998 as a result of concern about the low numbers of Aboriginal students enrolled in health related fields. In recent years, the program has awarded scholarships to students enrolled in a variety of courses including medicine, nursing, allied health, social work and Aboriginal health work. It is expected that following graduation, students will practice in Western Australia.
