Aboriginal birth cohort study: wave-4 scholarship



The Menzies School of Health Research (Menzies) is Australia's leader in Indigenous and tropical health research working with communities throughout Australia and across the tropical region to the north. Menzies are offering scholarships to support PhD students involving the Aboriginal birth cohort (ABC) study: wave-4 in the areas of nutrition and mental health. The ABC study is the longest and largest prospective cohort study of Aboriginal people in Australia, with 686 participants and is now in its 26th year.

To be eligible, applicants need to:

Successful applicants are entitled to a tax-free stipend of $30,000 per annum (students will be expected to apply for a primary research scholarship in the first year of candidature and student support funds to assist with project expenses such as travel and accommodation.
