Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cancer screening project grants

 

Overview

PapScreen Victoria, BreastScreen Victoria and Cancer Council Victoria have collaborated to offer incentives to improve cervical, breast and bowel cancer screening rates within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. The project offers non recurrent grants of up to $6,000.

Managed by PapScreen Victoria, this opportunity provides funding for Aboriginal community controlled health organisations or related services to develop and deliver innovative and sustainable culturally appropriate approaches to cancer screening within their local communities. Applicants are encouraged to partner with other local services and deliver preventative health programs where appropriate.
