Overview

WA Health's Aboriginal cadetship program offers Aboriginal university students the opportunity to gain paid work experience while completing an undergraduate degree. The program will recruit talented Aboriginal university students from a diverse range of non-clinical disciplines to undertake cadetships at WA Health locations across the Perth metropolitan area. Students from a range of disciplines are invited to apply including:

• business
• health promotions
• marketing / public relations / media
• environmental
• project management
• human resources
• finance
• Aboriginal studies
• policy development

Cadets will be required to complete twelve week's (60 days) work experience each calendar year, comprising one day per week each semester and block attendance during semester breaks.
