Caring for our Indigenous communities

Overview

Burn injury is up to 25 times more to likely occur in remote Aboriginal communities. This combined with additional challenges with distance, access and medical treatment puts our remote Indigenous population at high risk of serious injury and on-going complications.

The Caring for our Indigenous communities program will provide small funding grants to Indigenous communities with the key focus being on health, safety, education and training.
