Overview

The Indigenous peoples' medical scholarship is offered to assist and encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders studying for a medical degree at an Australian University. The scholarship is aimed at increasing the number of Indigenous Doctors in Australia. The value of the scholarship is $9,000 per student per annum, paid in one lump sum per year. The scholarship is tenable for each year of medicine being successfully completed.
