Overview

Aged care nursing scholarships are aimed at providing financial support to nurses studying within the aged care sector. These scholarships provide valuable assistance to aged care nurses with their professional development activities.

The scholarships are only available for courses leading to a qualification to practice as a registered/division 1 nurse. Up to 10 of these scholarships are designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.

To be considered for the scholarship an applicant must be:

• currently enrolled or intending to enrol in an undergraduate, accredited, pre-registration (entry to practice) nursing course at an Australian university
• currently enrolled or intending to enrol in a graduate entry, accredited, pre-registration (entry to practice) nursing course at an Australian university
• currently enrolled or intending to enrol in the Masters of nursing program at an Australian university, leading to first-time registration as a registered/division 1 nurse
