This scheme provides financial support to encourage and enable pharmacy programs at Australian universities to deliver student placements in rural and remote communities. Assistance is provided for travel and accommodation in relation to the placement in a rural or remote area and administration costs for the pharmacy schools to maintain their program.
Interested students, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students holding an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander scholarship are eligible to apply for a placement allowance and should contact their pharmacy school.
